Privacy policy

This policy explains how Moving Townsville handles personal information. We comply with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

• Details you enter in our quote form: name, phone, email, suburb, job details, moving to (suburb, town or city), local or interstate, move date, my dates are flexible: i can move on a different day for a better price, property size, add a bond clean quote (we may pass your details to a separate independent cleaner).
• Basic technical information such as your browser type and country, used to block spam.

Why we collect it and who we share it with

We collect your details only to connect you with an independent local removalist who can help with your enquiry. We share them with one such provider for that purpose. We do not sell your details or use them for unrelated marketing.

Storage and security

Information is stored with our service providers (including Cloudflare), which may store data outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to protect it and delete enquiry records we no longer need, generally after 2 years.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@movingtownsville.com.au. If you are unhappy with our response you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
